Den-Haag heeft een nieuw Peaky Blinders café: Shelby Public House

Heren opgelet: Den-Haag heeft een nieuw café in Peaky Blinders-stijl. In het Shelby Public House kom je voor meer dan alleen een goed glas Ierse whiskey.

De Britse hitserie Peaky Blinders heeft de afgelopen jaren de harten van veel mensen veroverd. Na het kijken van de serie willen alle mannen Tommy Shelby zijn. Dat kon al met deze unieke Nederlandse kledinglijn, maar een echte Shelby heeft natuurlijk ook een Ierse whiskey in zijn hand. Daarvoor kun je terecht in het Shelby Public House in Den-Haag, waar je ook nog eens heerlijk kunt eten.

Het Shelby Public House in Den-Haag

Het Shelby Public House in Den-Haag is opgedeeld in twee delen. In het ene deel kun je genieten van een goed glas whisky, een sterke cocktail of een pint bier. In het andere deel kun je klassiek Engels dineren. Geniet bijvoorbeeld van Pork Ribbs of Fish ’n Chips, geserveerd de iconische ‘vinegar’ en Worcestershire saus. Ben je vegetariër? Geen stress, chef Paul Blom heeft volledig plantaardige Tikka Masala Pie voor je klaar staan.

Look at our chef’s creation ?. Last weekend was a success! Thank you all for coming to our opening. Our kitchen will open on the 30th of November. Of course, you can already make a reservation to make sure you’re able to try out our delicious and surprising menu in our restaurant. ? In the meantime, we have a snack menu to fill your tummies.

Whiskey drinken in Peaky Blinders-sferen

De Peaky Blinders-ervaring zou niet compleet zijn zonder Ierse whiskey. Aangezien Tommy Shelby en zijn gang niet vies zijn van een goed glas heeft Shelby Public House een uitgebreide kaart met vooral veel Ierse whiskey’s. Er worden in het café in Den-haag ook proeverijen georganiseerd. Bij zijn dus. Mocht je het na één glas wel mooi vinden, dan kun je altijd een van de vele speciaalbieren bestellen die het café te bieden heeft. Uiteraard wordt er ook Guinness geschonken.

Je vindt het Peaky Blinders-café op de Papestraat 30 in Den Haag. Meer informatie over het Shelby Public House vind je hier. Pet op, jas aan en gaan. Het café is op 16 november officieel geopend, maar het grote openingsfeest vindt plaats op 29 november. De entree is gratis.
